Terms of Service
Please review our standards for using the GigWorker marketplace.
1. Introduction
GigWorker is a two-sided marketplace connecting digital service professionals (freelancers) with small businesses (customers). By accessing our platform, you agree to these legal terms.
2. Account Registration
Users must provide accurate, complete, and updated information during the onboarding process. Freelancers are subject to a background check and identity verification by our admin team.
3. Fees & Commission
GigWorker operates on a commission-based model. We charge a 15% service fee from customers and a 15% commission from freelancers on every job completed through the platform.
4. Payments & Settlements
To ensure trust and prevent fraud, all payments and withdrawals are processed manually by our admin team based on the transparent ledger provided to each user.
5. Conduct & Reviews
GigWorker maintains high-quality standards through our rating and review system. Any users found providing false information, misrepresenting services, or engaging in fraudulent activity will have their accounts suspended immediately.
6. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed upon, ownership of the work delivered by a freelancer belongs to the customer once the project is finalized and approved.
